My "Why" - To inspire others to provide service and hospitality because neither is mutually exclusive to the pursuit of happiness.
Hopi is a hospitality industry veteran having worked for large companies, and as a successful brand-builder and entrepreneur. He has led front of the house teams at Relais & Chateaux properties in New England, eventually moving into the position of Wine Director and Restaurant General Manager. In 2000, Hopi became partner of a full service off- site catering and retail pre-packaged food store, where he managed, planned, sold and executed intimate dinner parties to large weddings in excess of five hundred guests.
In 2002, Hopi conceived and built New Hampshire’s first and only private dining, social and business club. As Managing partner, the club flourished and he grew and developed reciprocal property arrangements with three hundred and fifty private clubs in the U.S. and internationally; resulting in acceptance by the Club Corporation of America as one of the only privately owned and operated clubs within their network. In 2013 Hopi successfully sold the private dining club, went back to school and received a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University. Upon completion, he became Hotel Manager at Sheraton Portsmouth and eventually Vice President of Food and Beverage for Key Hospitality Group.
Hopi graduated Cum Laude in English and Film Studies from The University of Vermont and University of Kent in Canterbury, England.
